311 - Project 2 - BEGINNING

     

Im starting with this creepy head.

Then next im moving on to proportions.

At this point I am very not used to these proportions. I am debating whether to go back to my first project model, cut the head, and resize it to these proportions.

 

And also make the eyes a little larger, and whatnot.

Busy this week. Will try next week.

 PROJECT 1 - WEEK 1 PROPOSAL Hello! This week is my proposal, and with me being a character design and illustration major, I decided to take on something I strongly believe is both ambitious, and rewarding. For this Bespoke Object, I will be bringing one of my characters to life in 3D. However, I will be utilizing two programs, Rhino and ZBrush.   Circled in pink, I will re imagining her in a 3D space, utilizing ZBrush to achieve her figure model, and Rhino for more symmetrical objects, like the weapon she will be holding below and the rock and base plate.   Within this fantasy world, muskets exist as form of weaponry. Here, I tried to pose her silhouette into a form that I believe would utilize both Rhino and ZBrush effectively. OBDF 311 - Project 2 - PROPOSAL

 Mass produced object? Well let's look on store shelves. We got figurines, toys, and other knick nacks and collectibles. So for my second project...        I will be making a chibi version of my character from the first project, but this time, I want to *at least* try something new with it.        I want to try making it into an actual collectible. So this will involve me designing a box.          This is an example.                      Pretty eager to see where this will take me. Stay tuned.

311 - Project 2 - REMODELLING

       I decided to remodel the head completely. And also the body to fit more cartoon proportions.          I recycled some assets from the previous project, like the body; but I heavily modified it. I may as well save myself the time if I have the resources to do so.        I also kept the ears from the previous model. Now I have the correct proportions this week.
