OBDF 311 - Project 1 - Week 4 - ZBRUSH, Character Finalization

This week was used to really crack down on finishing the model.

First here I made her belt and bracelet. Again, I utilized ZBrush's curve tools but ZBrush also has some unique functions.

Using a tool called CurveStrapSnap, it allows me to wrap the curve around objects at any angle. This is achieved by clicking once, holding and dragging the cursor into the blank canvas, and releasing.

For the belt I used IMM Clothing objects for the clasp and formed it to a shape I liked.

The pants were really cool to do. Slightly deviating from the original design, these pants are middle eastern in nature, noted by the baggy-ness of it.

But I also wanted to add a bit of rigidity to the pants, so that meant having some slight frameworking for those large concave creases near her hips.

Next is her inner shorts. Like last time, I used Extract from a masking to extrude my mask into another Subtool, or object. I used Pinch and Move to adjust the pants to a style befitting the eastern aesthetic.

Now adding the loincloth, I used an flat oval and simply manipulated it to my liking. I also used cloth brushes to add in subtle folds.

For her sandals, for the sole, I used a rigid oval and formed it to her feet.

For the straps, I used curves once more with the method mentioned above.

Overall, I may add more intricate details within her lower half, and might play around with the shape of her leggings. However- I'm pretty satisfied with it.
