ZBRUSH, CC4 Week 5, - Character Posing & *actual* Finalization

This was a big week for this assignment. Check this out.

The character has been posed and I added extra details. Let me show you how I did it.

Here Is my base model. I had to remove all the other clothing objects for this to work: with each subtools I can communicate with another program called Character Creator 4 to pose the subtools and re-translate it back to ZBrush.

Here she is in CC4. Now here is where the magic happens.

I rigged the model. THAT IS CORRECT. I RIGGED the model. It wasn't difficult, as CC4 has a tool to accurately place bones and joints, but this way, I'm able to pose her however I like.

Here I posed the model similar to the reference image.

And I added her musket.

Now I press this button: it transfers the pose to ZBrush using a GoZ, simply put- it communicates with ZBrush to modify the subtools.

And there we go. I simply re-added her other subtools...

And she's complete.

The baseplate was quickly crafted in Rhino, with the vases coming in from thingiverse. The textures were added later.

And now, I'm ready to start slicing for print.
